Volunteer Drivers
The sorts of things it would involve are –

Driving the new Electric automatic vehicles.

Full, clean driving licence

Supporting residents with a door-to-door service for Hospital/Doctors’ appointments, shopping, social events, visiting family and friends etc.

Liaise with the community transport Co-ordinator who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the scheme.

Must be Over 25
If you have a passion for driving and would like to help others by transporting them to appointments, then this role is for you. All training and expenses provided.

Attending planning meetings
Street Champions
Calling all champions to represent their amazing street 👌
The sorts of things it would involve are –

Sharing news with your street

Signposting residents in need of support or information

Delivering newsletters and resources

Liaising with WAPM on any issues

Being a voice for your street.
Please note anyone who joins WAPM will be registered as a volunteer this will cover you on our insurance, you can access free accredited training to support you in your role and where necessary will be provided with a fully enhanced DBS.
You don’t need to have experience - if you live in Plas Madoc you're an expert on what will work here. It’s a great way to build your skills and CV plus you get to hang out with us.
